We are excited to announce that one of our faculty members, Dr. Diana Grigsby-Toussaint, at the Center for Health Promotion and Health Equity has been selected to participate in Brown University’s prestigious Faculty Leadership Program for the 2024-2025 academic year. This program fosters a new vision for leadership at Brown by developing and empowering emerging leaders to promote inclusive excellence across the university.
Participants in the Faculty Leadership Program will engage in a series of experiential learning sessions focused on skills such as diversity, equity, and inclusion, time management, team building, coaching, and conflict resolution. By refining their leadership capabilities and developing a robust support network, Dr. Diana Grigsby-Toussaint will help shape the future of our academic community while balancing personal professional research and scholarship goals.
According to Dr. Grigsby-Toussaint “ This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about how the university works with colleagues across campus. I am also thrilled to further cultivate my leadership style by better understanding my unique strengths.”
We are proud to see our faculty member contributing to this vital initiative and look forward to the positive impact their participation will bring to the Center and beyond.
Stay tuned for updates on their leadership journey!
