We welcome Dr. Alex Macmadu to our Center, where her nationally recognized work in harm reduction and community-engaged research advances health equity for people who use drugs. In a recent article in the Journal of Medical Internet Research, Robert Rosales investigates how daily experiences of discrimination and stress shape alcohol use among Latinx sexual minority youth. Using real-time data collection, the study examines how minority stress influences underage drinking risk and aims to inform more culturally responsive prevention efforts.
