We are thrilled to extend our congratulations to Diana Grigsby-Toussaint, PhD, MPH, Associate Professor at the Center for Health Promotion and Health Equity, on receiving a prestigious five-year NIH R01 grant!
Building on prior NIH-funded research investigating the relationship between green space exposure and health among elementary school children in Rhode Island, this innovative, interdisciplinary project expands the scope by integrating longitudinal exposure measures and cutting-edge GeoAI methodology.
Grigsby-Toussaint will collaborate with an outstanding team of Co-Investigators across institutions and disciplines:
- Kevin Mwenda, PhD (Associate Professor & S4 Director)
- Shira Dunsiger, PhD (Department of Behavioral and Social Sciences)
- Jue Yang, PhD (Department of Behavioral and Social Sciences)
- John McGeary, PhD (Warren Alpert Medical School)
- Fang Fang, PhD (RTI International)
- Ritambhara Singh, PhD (University of Illinois)
We look forward to seeing the impact of Diana and her team's work as they continue to advance public health research.
