CHPHE Welcomes Dr. David G. Zelaya: Advancing Health Equity Through Research, Advocacy, and Clinical Practice
The Center for Health Promotion and Health Equity (CHPHE) is proud to welcome Dr. David G. Zelaya, a nationally recognized scholar in health equity and behavioral health, as a new faculty member. Dr. Zelaya brings a wealth of experience in research, clinical practice, and advocacy focused on underserved communities.
Doctoral student Emily Elenio is tackling one of the biggest challenges in digital public health research today: securing the integrity of online survey data. In her innovative work on the "What’s On Your Plate" study, she sets new standards for recruiting under-resourced populations while defending against bots and fraudulent responses.
